My name is Matt Wolf, owner and operator of Matt Wolf Construction Inc. You've heard it said, if it's worth doing it's worth doing right, and I might add considerably less expensive than doing it twice. I take a lot of pride in my work. I am proud to offer people a top quality product for the dollar. I build and repair to code standards or above. (Codes are only a minimum, not a maximum). Every once in a while I am asked to "throw something together" I refuse to do it. If I am going to work on a project I want it to be something I can be proud of, not something to hide from. I want to leave the project as though it has my name stamped all over it.

I put it in Writing

I provide a written, detailed proposal of the work to be completed along with the cost. Sometimes, especially in remodeling, there are hidden surprises that even the best of us are not going to see. I try to acknowledge the possibility of these developments in my proposal, just in case. Other times, as a project take shape you may decide on a change. That's not a problem, it is your house, and you need to be satisfied with your project. In both cases I will provide a written revision and obtain your consent before proceeding.

Get the highest return for your dollar

You deserve to get the most for your dollar. Take a simple roof repair scenario. The first guy can fix your roof leak for $100.00 and do it in one hour. He is going to tar or patch the problem area. And by the way if it leaks again he is either out of business or mysteriously MIA. The next guy will do it for $150 and it will take him three hours. He is going to replace the damaged shingles and glue them down. And if there is a problem this guy will repair it. You get the point. If ever it were crucial to realize the difference in apples and oranges it is true in the remodeling and handy man business.
